Overview
Since kindergarten, Kevin has been a P-Patch Volunteer with the Beacon Food Forest, being engrained onto many milestones including plaques and promotions as the site expanded.

Attended community work parties to maintain premises.
Increased community engagement through social media promotions.
Provided entertainment through musical performances during events.
Overview
Kevin volunteered for various Rainier District Little League teams, assisting coaches during games and practices to increase engagement among players and their families.

Along with his class, Kevin was part of the inaugural year of the TrEE Project at Cleveland STEM High School, a project that has guided restoration efforts in the local Maple School Ravine.

Studies species diversity and biotic interactions through scientific analysis.
Removed invasive ivy and raspberries and planted native plants around the premises.
Accomplishments
Overview
The Gates Scholarship, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is a last-dollar scholarship program for outstanding high school seniors in the United States. Each year, outstanding student leaders are recognized at The Gates Scholarship Summer Institute.
Overview
Kevin earned the AP® Scholar with Distinction Award from the College Board in July 2023. This distinction is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP® exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
Overview
The Washington State Seal of Biliteracy recognizes public high school graduates who have attained proficiency in English and one or more world languages. As a quadrilingual, Kevin is proficient in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Taishanese.
